Ruins in the Sand Postcard | Joshua Tree, California

$2.00
This Noah Purifoy installation, cracked and exposed beneath the desert sun, feels both ancient and futuristic. The jagged lines, the open doorway, the mountains rising in the distance—it all made me think about what Black people build, what we survive, and the art of making meaning from fragments. I left in awe of the creativity and resourcefulness Black artists have always carried, especially in spaces not built for us.
