From there, a short walk brings you to the threshold of the legendary Forbidden City. As the world’s largest imperial palace complex, this masterpiece was
the secluded home to 24 separate emperors throughout the Ming and Qing Dynasties. You will explore a jaw-dropping landscape of 980 buildings, keeping an eye out for the meticulously carved dragons, lions, and phoenixes guarding the rooftops to invite prosperity.Next, transition to the tranquil grounds of Jingshan Park, a historic sanctuary that once hosted imperial archers, sacred sacrifices, and grand theatrical operas.
In the afternoon, you will drive to the breathtaking Summer Palace. Widely celebrated as the "Museum of Royal Gardens," this vast expanse seamlessly blends rolling hills and calm lakes with a stunning array of pavilions, offering an idyllic conclusion to your day of royal exploration.

Later, transfer to the airport for your evening flight to Shanghai, where your local driver will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel.

Stroll along the traditional streets, browse local shops, and optionally enjoy a relaxing boat ride through the scenic waterways to fully experience the town’s timeless charm.
Later, return to downtown Shanghai and explore the artistic neighborhood of Tianzifang. Hidden within a maze of narrow alleyways, this lively district blends traditional Shanghainese architecture with trendy cafés, boutique shops, galleries, and local eateries. A signed waiver form

The total payment is due prior to the start date of the getaway.

The $100 fee per person is non-refundable.

60 days or more before the trip starts: Free cancellation + Refund, excluding the $100 deposit and applicable bank transfer fees
60 to 0 days before the trip starts: 100% cancellation fees apply
